Vidin develops balneology tourism

Vidin municipality might be included in the project for the development of wellness tourism in Bulgaria, announced Darik Radio. Vidin should be included in such a project, because it is rather popular destination primarily due to healing properties of mineral springs.
‘The development of tourism in the region of Vidin is one of the top priorities of Vidin municipality’, said the mayor. Many ambassadors from various countries visited Vidin and the mayor has presented interesting historic chronicles, information, regarding the population of Vidin and opportunities for the development of the city.
‘’Medieval fortress Baba Vida is likely to be included in the list of the places under the auspices of UNESCO,’’ said Mrs. Sheila Kamerar at the meeting. The ambassador of South Africa expressed her impression of the tourist sites in Vidin.
