Tourists in Bulgaria-winter 2008

Statistical data for the last winter tourist season (2007-2008) showed that the number of foreign tourists who visited Bulgarian winter resorts was increased by 9,5%. The average age of holidaymakers is 36 years and more than 60% of them are university graduates.
Regular visitors to Bulgarian winter resorts are hardly 30%, whereas those who frequently visit summer resorts are more than 60%.
Less than 10% of foreigners spend less money on their holiday. In contrast to them, 22% exceed their holiday amount of money.
Foreigners showed increasing interest in traditional Bulgarian cuisine. According to statistical data, every second tourist in Bulgaria prefers having a meal in traditional Bulgarian restaurant instead of a luxurious one or eating in the hotel’s lobby bar.
98% of tourists are completely satisfied with the quality of tourist services and 95% are pleased with ski zone.
