Taxes for Bulgarian and Foreign Tourists - Equalized

With the changes made in the Tourism Bill, which is to be adopted by the Council of Ministers today, taxes for Bulgarian and foreign tourists are to be made equal. According to Minister of Culture, Stefan Danailov whose department still includes tourism, the equalization of taxes for all tourists has to be done because it is one of EU requirements. To the question of whether the act of equalization would affect Bulgarian tourists, Danailov responded: “This measure is adequate and it has been required for years. Now it will be adopted”, BNR reported. see source
