The number of tourists from the Scandinavian countries and Denmark has increased by 29.7% year-on-year, according to passenger data from Burgas Airport. Meanwhile, German tourists on Bulgarian beaches seem to be on the decrease, as their number has slumped by 7.5%. Burgas Airport reported traffic of more than 1.5 million passengers since the beginning of the summer season, which is 14.66% more than last year. At the airport, the largest on the southern coastline, the millionth passenger was welcomed on August 15 - a week earlier compared to last year. September and October promise to be a successful extension of the season on the southern Black Sea of Bulgaria, with prices expected to slump down in Sunny Beach, Sozopol, Ahtopol, Kiten and Sinemorets. see source
