Ryanair launches new flights London-Plovdiv this November

Low-cost Irish carrier Ryanair announced that they would launch regular flights from London to Plovdiv and the first one is scheduled for 2nd of November 2010. Ryanair will offer two flights weekly and thus it is expected that annually 30 000 passengers will benefit from the new destination. It is believed that regular air flights from London to Bulgaria’s Plovdiv will boost the development of the potential of Southern Bulgaria as a all-year-round holiday destination.
Municipalities of Assenovgrad, Hissar and Rhodopes have recently begun an initiative which aims at developing the tourist potential of the region by the implementation of regular air flights at Plovdiv Airport.Of course, prices are considered the most important issue when it comes to purchasing an air ticket, showed figures of the recent survey in the website Skyscanner.
