Weekend Tourism Rousse 2009

14th May-16th of May Rousse city, Northeastern Bulgaria
75 companies will be presented at the 5th exhibition which Russe municipality organizes for the development of tourism in the city. The expo Weekend Tourism Russe 2009 will take place from 14th of May until 16th of May in the architectural landmark, the Theatre complex “Dohodno zdanie”.
The second festival of tourism entertainment and animations will take place within the same time-frame.
The figures show that the interest in Russe and its region is constantly growing. The information has been extracted on the basis of the surveys for the last five years.
The world crisis and economic embarrassment do not reflect on the profile of the event aimed to popularize and present the possibilities for weekend, family and budget tourism.
The second forthcoming festival of the tourism entertainment and animations will attract even more visitors and potential guests of Russe and it will definitely enrich the various program of the expo. 20 products, 6-hour program and more than 100 participants await you at the forum. The number of classical tourist attractions grows in number instead of the folklore performances. For the first time, traditional crafting techniques such as working with a potter’s wheel, weaving loom, egg decoration, etc. will be presented at the expo.
Municipality Russe organizes both events in co-operation with the foundation “European horizons 21” and the Regional History museum, as well as the assistance of the National Tourism Agency.
