Post Stamp with Madara Horseman Released

A post stamp with the Madara Horseman will be released this Thursday on the occasion of the 30th anniversary since the rock relief was put on the UNESCO world heritage list. The stamp will be promoted by Bulgaria's Minister of Culture Stefan Danailov. The jubilee celebration will close on Friday with a concert of virtuoso violin player Mincho Minchev.
The unique monument was proclaimed Bulgaria's symbol a year ago. The municipal council of the town of Shoumen has decided that the whole natural reserve should be put under UNESCO's aegis, but the idea will be realized only after its adoption by Bulgaria's Council of Ministers.
