The International tourism expo “Cultural tourism 2009″ will take place from 8th of April until the 11th of April in Veliko Tarnovo. 43 municipalities and tourist information centres will present their tourist products at exhibition which will occupy an area of 300 m2 at the Exhibition complex “Rafail Michailov”. Many municipalities and companies which offer tourism services to customers will have the opportunity to present their activities at special advertising stalls.
38 Bulgarian tour operators, 12 Romanian tour operators, as well as representatives of Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and Malta will take part in the expo. The program of the exhibition includes the discussions: “European year of Intercultural dialogue”, “Cultural corridors of Southeastern Europe-political initiative for transborder product of cultural tourism” and “Bulgarian symbols-what Bulgarian vote for”. The discussions will be related mostly to the current issues of tourism business and the future opportunities for growth and development.
An expo event, a film festival and discussion forum will be also a part of the event.
