Hunting falcons to be shown in Plovdiv

The demonstration of hunting falcons is the new attraction which will be included for the first time in this year edition of the International exhibition “Nature, Hunting and Fishing”. It will take place from the 1st of April until the 5th of April within the frames of the International Plovdiv Fair.
The visitors of International Plovdiv Fair 2009 will have the unique opportunity to see hunting falcons training and even they can try training them. Experts will show how the falcons are chasing their bait, in which way the birds should be called when they are far away.
In fact, trained falcons are used to guard airports, fishmongers and agricultural lands from birds which may cause serious damages. Falcons knowledge possesses many economical, ecological and social effects which will be represented at the exhibition “Nature, hunting, fishing 2009”.
Hunting instruments and facilities from the 17th, 18th and 19th century will be also a part of the exhibition.
