Bulgarian skiing resorts will make their best to attract tourists in the summer season. Bulgarian skiing resorts will attempt attracting tourists outside the active winter season. Pamporovo winter resort plans to invest in the artificial snow coverage of its tracks during the summer. The artificial cover will be made for the red ski run “Snejanka-Malina”, the black one “Stena” as well as the new routes which lead to Stoykite. The common investment program foresees nearly 80% of the tracks to be covered with artificial snow. will halt construction works during the summer so as to make it accessible and convenient for tourists. However, Borovets does not intend to make further investments because of the financial crisis. The resort will attempt organizing seminars and workshops during the summer season so as attract big companies.
