Bulgarian sea resorts took part in prestigious Finnish tourism expo

Sozopol competed with Nessebar in the biggest tourism expo in Finland, which was held from 15th of January until 18th of January in Helsinki.
Sozopol Municipality was one of the four Bulgarian organizations which represented Bulgarian tourist product in the 23th edition of MATKA in Helsinki.
The prestigious event gathered together about 16 000 tourist companies and organizations.
Sozopol took part in the event with its own counter at which visitors were able to get familiar with Sozopol opportunities for being very attractive tourist destination. Multimedia presentation for sea tourism was one of the accents in the presentation of Sozopol Municipality at Finnish tourism exhibition.
Numerous visitors were able to watch a movie, which represents the history and archaeology of Sozopol as one of the most desired destinations for cultural tourism. Luxurious catalogue which represents all Sozopol hotels, chic restaurants and complexes was also introduced. Natural landmarks as a unique combination of sea and mountain beauty found their special place in the English edition of the catalogue.
It is the first time when Sozopol Municipality will also take part in tourism expos in Moscow, Russia, Israel and Kazakhstan.
Leading accents of Nessebar advertisement campaign were its rich natural resources, the unique cultural and historical heritage, modern hotels, the suitable conditions for eco holidays, the wide variety of cultural events and its numerous opportunities for business tourism.
