‘Spiritual path’ is the name of Nessebar’s new tourist product

The deputy mayor of Nessebar municipality has expressed her belief that the exquisitely made churches in Nessebar beach resort may draw visitors’ attention for the upcoming tourist season. Unlike many coastal resorts that do offer pristine sandy beaches and plenty of nightclubs, Nessebar beach resort is distinguishable for its temples which add a special charm to the ancient city. Therefore, this power and cultural inheritance should be properly utilized. It is planned that information boards will lead tourists from the gates of the ancient city, the narrow cobblestone streets to each of the remarkable churches in Nessebar. That is why the new tourist route bears the name ‘Spiritual path’. The idea behind this project is to help tourists walk this exceptional spiritual path by passing along all holy temples in the ancient Nessebar.
