Annual SPA nominations in Bulgaria for the first time

Professionals in the SPA industry will be given awards for the first time in Bulgaria. The goal of the annual ‘Spa nominations’ which are under the auspices of Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, is to promote SPA and wellness tourism in Bulgaria. A jury of experts at SPA and wellness tourism will select nominations. Nominations give the chance to make popular various SPA destinations, as well as find the professionals in SPA tourism, commented Ivo Marinov, the deputy minister of MIET.
Some of the categories which are included in the program will be: famous SPA complexes in Bulgaria which conform to adopted requirements for a SPA centre, SPA destination in Bulgaria, SPA hotels which develop their vision and maintain excellent holiday conditions, SPA cosmetics, individuals who contributed to the development and promotion of Bulgaria’s SPA and balneology. The official award giving ceremony will be held on 16th of June 2010.
