Alternative tourism project to be carried out in Nature Park Bulgarka

“Demonstration centre “Bulgarka”-a model for the preservation of biodiversity through alternative tourism and sustainable land usage” is the name of the approved project of Nature Park “Bulgarka”. It is estimated at 125 000 BGN. The project will be fulfilled within one year. The aim of the project is the construction of an information centre for visitors in a close proximity to Architecture and ethnographic complex “Etura” near Gabrovo. The center will provide tourists with more information about the opportunities for sustainable development of the preserved area, as well as about the unique biodiversity of the park. Old agricultural practices are planned to be reestablished as a part of the project and a fruit tree garden will be created near Sokolski Monastery.

The project focuses on the creation of a tourism product that can be successfully offered. Thus, tourists who visit Etura will able to get familiar with the opportunities for alternative tourism which the park can offer. See source here
