Hotel was clean, staff very helpful/ friendly. Food was OK, prices were cheaper in supermarket for drinks than out at the pool bar. They could have had a little more entertainment at the pool. Overall very satisfied with everything really, next time I'll be booking a hotel closer to main strip of bars etc, not good working 15mins in high heels!!! Great nightlife!! Very hot!!!

Just back from a 2 week stay at the Slavyanski hotel in Sunny beach. Not bad but certainly not fantastic either. Rooms are clean but no air con and so can get really hot at night. Was led to believe that the prices in Sunny Beach were lower than they actually were. Tend to get a lot of hassle when walking down the promenade but this could just be due to it coming to the end of season. Found a few people very rude and unhelpful, we got more smiles from the maids!!! Flight on way home was okay but would have been better if the air hostesses cracked a smile even once!!

I arived at 10.30pm an walked in to a very clean bright lobby with 2 young girls behind reception and a young man helped me with my luggage. I was checked in, got a safe and was in the room in 5 minutes which was immaculated clean, bright, airy, air conditioned, 24 channel TV and loads of luggage space. I have stayed in worst 4 star UK hotel rooms. Throughout my whole stay I found everyone basically friendly but all the staff are very young, all college students working the summer there and it is more of a lack of training than sadly I found the rest of the resort with people being downright rude. The only complaint I heard anyone say at the hotel was having to pay for sun loungers but after talking to a member of staff he explained to me that all the hotels are open to all other guests as there are no fences between the hotels in this area so they charge everybody who was laying on one. It didn't bother me because I didn't want one as I am not a sunbather.

Good hotel in great position virtually on the beach and about 20mins walk from resort centre, but plenty going on in the area. Excellent size room, with balcony & bathroom, mod cons like TV & hairdryer. Breakfast was fine plenty of choice hot & cold etc.Good size pool, plenty of sunbeds at 5lev per day, which meant that you could always get one. Lobby Bar & pool bar were very reasonable.

I checked into the Slavyanski on The 20th June 2008, i think this was still very early season, it is still not overly english out there, its a real mix of nationalities, which is ok?! Hotel rooms nice size, a couple of english tv channels and an a good size balcony. Plus FREE Aircon (Which is rare abroad?!)
Some Really good bars, all the bars do 'Buy 1 get one Free' on cocktails and average cost of 8Lev (Under Ł4) so its fairly reasonable, i dont think bulgaria is as cheap as people make out but it is still much cheaper than spain and greece.
La Banana is a great restaurant if your after good cheap food, 2 off us was eating here and getting a bottle of wine for 25lev (less than Ł15)
