The rooms are a bit outdated. Old TV. The spa has equipments that not work all the time.

Excellent value for money with large and comfortable rooms, wonderful and clean spa and a very decent morning and evening buffet. Take care to book directly with the hotel (https://www.borovetshills.com). A company called Profi Tours runs a website that looks identical: https://www.borovets-hills.com. They took 50% extra out of my account and I had to claw it back. Could have been an honest mistake if one wants to believe that. At check-out, the payment procedure at the reception was odd, they could not produce an itemized bill prior to payment. Only after I had paid I was orally told what items it was for, which turned out correct. The staff was friendly except for the pool guards which were rude and spoke no English whatsoever. With some more effort and eye for detail this hotel could be perfect.

The spa and all facilities were great, perfectly clean rooms, food average not for 5 star hotel, warm and cosy. Staff helpful.

Having stayed at Yastrebets Wellness last year, I was not impressed by Borovets Hill. Decided to stay at Borovets Hills because of the better price and wished we hadn't. The food was terrible. We opted for the half board plan and regretted it with every single meal. The thing is that if you stay up there and don't have a car or don't want to drive, you are pretty much stuck eating at Borovets Hills or Yastrebets.
The suite we had was amazing with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, very comfortable.
The kids club was important to us as we have 2 small children who love kids clubs. However, apparently the club staff doesn't adhere to any set working schedule; club may or may not be open when you need it. You also have to pay 5lv an hour per kid which is apparently posted on the website but we missed it.
Not much of a bar/lobby/archade room scene either.
We like the location, about 5-minute walk to the Yastrebets area. Just remember that there is nothing around such as stores or restaurants. But you also don't have the crowds.
The staff professionalism and politeness is below average. Folks are impolite, uninterested in accommodating the customers, sometimes flat out rude. Bottom line: would not stay there again.

Îïðåäåëåíî íå ñúì âïå÷àòëåíà îò õîòåëà. Íå óñåòèõ ãîñòîïðèåìíî îòíîøåíèå íà ïåðñîíàëà. Öåíèòå â ðåñòîðàíòà ñà íåîïðàâäàíî âèñîêè. Çàêóñêàòà áåøå áåäíà è åâòèíà. Åäèíñòâåíî ÑÏÀ öåíòúðúò îòãîâàðÿ íà òàêúâ, êàêúâòî òðÿáâà äà èìà åäèí 5-çâåçäåí õîòåë.

Me and three friends stayed at the apartment in the Borovets Hills hotel and we had wonderful time in Bansko. The hotel is very beautiful and we used spa centre every night after skiing. Staff was very nice and help us to find skis.
Food at the restaurant was very good and near to the hotel are all the bars and clubs. Borovets is very fun for young people who like to ski and have fun.
