Romanian tourists celebrate New Year in Veliko Turnovo

Bulgaria’s town of Veliko Turnovo and the picturesque Arbanasi village are the most preferable destinations for New Year’s vacation for Romanian tourists.
The number of Romanian tourists who visit the town is greater compared to the last year’s figures. Romanians have booked two-three days tourism packages for New Year, however, hotel owners report an increase in 7-day packages.
The city of Veliko Turnovo attracts many holidaymakers for New Year’s Eve, because on January 1st, 2011 at 6 pm tourists can watch "Tsarevgrad Turnov – Sound and Light" ("Zvuk i svetlina") audio-visual show.
