Situated in the middle of nowhere, the resort clearly operates beyond its capacity as there is no place for all the guests it accommodates. Guests reserve sunbeds from the evening before. Staff is untrained and probably insufficient as the main restaurant cannot serve all the guests. Food and drinks have a blunt taste. There is no beach for the Mare and the Bay hotel guests, only for the Palace hotel ones. Every service has different operating hours adding to the total confusion, and even if you go during the hours, they often run out of supplies (towels, ice-cream...) or are simply closed with no explanation (slides in the aquapark). Massive deposits of seaweed making the beach not only ugly but absolutely disgusting. The reception charges you exorbitamt prices for a safety box, parking and even for every single piece of laundry you have. If your child has a small accident, they don't have a first aid kit but instead kindly offer you to call a doctor, again for an exorbitant price. This "resort" is a total scam.

Even though I had reserved and paid for a room at Hotel Mare, an unpleasant lady at the reception informed me that my reservation was not recorded and that I had to go to Hotel Bay, where my reservation was supposedly located. When I arrived at Hotel Bay, I waited for an explanation, but none was provided.
Hotel Bay was quite far from the children's pools, which was inconvenient for a family with kids. The hotel lacked clear rules; for instance, the reception touted the benefit of choosing various restaurants, such as the American one. However, when we went there, they served us food, but then kicked us out while we were eating, claiming it was only for Palace guests.
To this day, I still don't know if I was allowed to swim in any pool other than the one at Hotel Bay. Feeling like an intruder on vacation, constantly worrying about what I can and cannot do, and fearing that someone might kick me out of a pool because I have a different colored wristband, is not the vacation I imagined.

Добро място за семейства с малки деца, има много забавления - басейни, най-разнообразни пързалки, лодки, колички и др.
Единствен недостатък е че плажа е малък и че ползването на чадър и шезлонг се плаща, а не е включено в цената

Уже четвёртый год подряд мы посещаем этот отель .Приезжаем с внуками дети разного возраста от 7 лет до 15 лет всего нас 6 человек берём как обычно семейный номер, он нам очень подходит и очень хорошее расположение комнат,никто друг другу не мешает. В отеле все находят себе занятие, взрослые вечером ходят в тренажёрный зал и для маленьких есть хорошая площадка купаться ходят как в бассейн так и на море. Территория отеля большая есть где и уединиться от шума,народа в отеле очень много, но как не странно места хватает всем и в ресторане и на пляже и у бассейна. Дети каждый год ждут того времени чтобы вновь посетить этот отель.

The hotel, the rooms and the main restaurant were exactly what I was was expecting, since I've visited this hotel before. The overall experience was great, there were only a few little things that I found a bit disappointing.
When I checked in I received information about the restaurant and their opening hours. The pool bar was also mentioned there even though it wasn't open even a single day during my seven day stay.
The cleaning staff were fast and friendly, but one day they entered my room even though I had the "do not disturb" sign hanging from the door handle. Luckily I had just got my bathing suit on but this kind of startled me.

Некоректност в предлагането на стаи плащаш за едно получаваш друго. Храната всеки ден е една и съща - закуска палачинки и едни и същи колбаси , за обяд каквото е останало от вечеря , а за вечеря каквото е останало от обяд и на другият ден пак така.Единствено персонала се държи любезно.

Отель понравился. Большая ухоженная территория, много зелени. Считаю недостатком отсутствие обустроенного пляжа. Терраса под соснами отличная, но нет ухоженного места для купания с чистым пляжем, спасателем, зонтиками и т.д. Для 4* может и не критично, но 5* Palace тоже относятся к этому пляжу. Также есть замечания по чистоте бассейнов! Грязь на бортиках и мутная вода к концу первой недели отдыха полностью лишили желания там купаться. А потом чистка бассейна персоналом проводилась прямо на глазах у отдыхающих после громкой не хвалебной речи , видимо, менеджера отеля. Плохо убирались столики в лобби-баре: гора грязной посуды, пролитые напитки-приходилось самим вытирать салфетками и переставлять посуду. А кофе вкусный. По еде вообще претензий нет, много всего и разнообразно. И еще в самом начале испортил впечатление факт заселения в другой отель без предварительного согласования. Бронировали mare, а заселили в bay. Мы выбирали отель по отзывам и было неприятно изменение, а срываться с места через 4 дня отдыха не хотелось. Остались в bay.

Моята препоръка е към храната, липсва изцяло традиционна българска кухня. Ястията бяха някак си измислени или пригодени към вкуса на чужденци. Кафето в лоби бара не беше хубаво, както и липса на натурален сок за децата и фреш. Предлагаха се някакви измислени сокове от машина тип "степче". Цената която се заплаща, смятам че е достатъчно висока да може да се предлага натурален сок за децата, както и по качествено еспресо кафе, например лаваца и др.

Не е приемливо в хотел 4 * дори и след допълнително заплащане за паркиране на паркинга да цари пълен хаос и всяка вечер охраната да ти търси място за паркиране във вече пълния паркин. След мое оплскване някакъв "мениджър" (не разбрах на какво точно беше мениджър) обясни, че така било нормално. На този мениджър не трябва да му дават да менажира и селската баня! Мениджър!!??

Very Nice location and stay, for both us grown ups, and for my grandson in the age of 3. At the age of 3 you have to have Your eyes at the child all the time, but it was still a relaxing week for both mother and gradparents! And, compliments to the Chefs, really good food! The rooms had big beds, Perfect for having a child in it. If I have a complaine, it must be that it is not enough to have one bar for juice, softdrinks and drinks for the hole pool area. With all inclusive, we would like to get something to drink by the pool, also in the children area. Over all, a very good hotel, and a Nice and relaxing stay! :)

Не мисля, че е адекватно в 4-звезден хотел паркингът да не е безплатен за почиващите там. Иначе хотелът е много добър, бих го посетила пак.
Когато за първи път видях уебсайта на хотела, той изглеждаше така, както изглежда и в момента. Когато обаче правих резервацията преди 15-тина дни, беше съвсем друг. Оценката, която съм поставила е към момента, в който правих резервацията.

Нормальный семейный отель. Русских в начале августа было немного. Фотография номера такая, какой он и есть. Вид на бассейн, где нет отеля - фотошоп. Чем порадовала Болгария - всегда на обед были горячие борщи, супы, солянки - весьма съедобные. Отель состоит из трех корпусов: в середине 5* по краям две "четверки". Разницы никакой - общая территория с пятью бассейнами, общими барами и пляжем. Единственно, в "четверке" нет мини-бара. Местный ром не плох. Обязательно посетите Старый Несебр. Проезд до Несебра на автобусе - 1 лев (около 25 рублей). Таксисты просят 15, но соглашаются за 10 лев.

Me and 5 members of my family stayed at Sol Nessebar Mare Aug 08, we had a fantastic time, so much so were going back this August.
Hotal, food, staff, entertainment, weather were excellent. The animation team were fantastic and our teenage kids had a fab time.
Everyones experience is different but I can recommend this hotel.
Can't wait for Aug 09 !

Staying at Sol Nessebar Mare in Nessebar in September! Me and my boyfriend had fab time! This hotel deserves attention, because it caters for its guests with genuine care. The hotel is clean and comfy and the pool is fabulous, spa centre beyond expectation.
The breakfast delicious and always warm and fresh, fruits, Mediterranean cuisine, English breakfast!Tranquil place to stay only few steps away from Nessebar. Probably going back this year. Cheers to you all!

we were on a family holiday , we booked this holiday cos thomas cook we booked with told us there was a english speaking doctor on sight 24 hours a day cos my mum is disbled and thought at some point she made have 2 see a doctor , well on 17th of august 2008 my dad passed out n was blue in a matter of a second i rushed 2 get help from the doctor , as other family members helped my dad , The doctor turned up he could not speak english he could see that my dad was blue so the doc starting fanning my dad with a book , then the doc listend 2 my dads chest n done 8 pumps on his chest then left my dad , n done nothing else 2 help him the ambulance turned up put my dad in there , finally i thought my dad was going 2 get some help we got a taxi 2 the hospital were the doc said my dad was going , we got 2 the hospital n my dad was not there they did not even take him 2 the hospital they left my dad in the ambulance at the back of the hotel 4 over 3 hours in over 35 heat , u would not treat a animal like this in england so why did they not try 2 save my dad , if my dad wanted 2 survise he did not have the chance, me n my family are so devistated the way my dad was treated i dont know how that man can call himself a DOCTOR , that doctor is ment 2 be looking after over 2000 people , please if u go 2 this hotel think twice my dad was fit n health and i am very sure if he was in englang when this happend he would still be a live.

JUST RETURN FROM A 2WK HOLIDAY AT SOL NESSEBAR MARE. WHAT A GREAT HOLIDAY. ROOMS WRE CLEAN AND LINEN /TOWELS CHANGED EVERY DAY. FOOD WAS OK LOADS OF CHOICES FOR ALL. BUT YOU WOULD NEVER GO HUNGRY. ANIMATION TEAM WERE FREINDLY AND TRY TO MAKE YOU JOIN IN ALL THE TIME. THE WEATHER WAS BRILLIANT. BEACH WAS CLEAN THE SEA WAS WARM. KIDS ENJOYED IT THEY WANT TO GO BACK. Hi, i have just got back from 1 week stay in Sol Nessebar Mare Hotel from 13th June 2008. What a great week, hotel was very clean welcoming and staff really friendly. Food was excellent lots of choice plenty to eat. Would love to go there again great place for familys lots to do and see. Will be returning again for a family hoilday!

Just returned on 4th July 2007 after 2 weeks at FNessebar Mare.. The hotel is a fab , the resort has grown a lot since our last visit in 2004 so we were happy to be at the Sought of the resort.
The room was excellent, agree pay extra for a sea view.
Meals were good, breakfast really good but we didn't eat dinner that much although the quality was good. Staff were really friendly.
One place you must go is the Nessebar Mare Bar right on the beach opposite the hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing.
I am looking at returning to the hotel next year, it was excellent!
