Bulgaria attracts Czech tourists with 100 Tourism Sites

The Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague has recently started a campaign which presents 100 National Tourism Sites to tourists from Czech Republic. The aim of the project is to provide Czech residents with useful and interesting information about Bulgarian culture, traditions and tourism landmarks. Bulgaria presented top 20 landmarks on 27th of January. Some of them were the old capital Veliko Turnovo, Tryavna, Dryanovo, Bozhentsi, Etura.
The project will be carried out in several phases. The first part includes a game, lectures and movies about Bulgaria. The campaign that focuses on Bulgaria’s top 100 tourism landmarks will be promoted in schools, universities and newspapers. Also, free brochures will be given and cultural programs will be conducted. The second phase envisages the circulation of free contest maps ‘pexeso’that show all 100 tourism places. The third stage includes lectures, maps presentations, books, multimedia presentations of all sites. One will have the chance to win a game and receive vouchers for weekend vacations in Bulgarian huts, tourism cards and many illustrated guides. The project officially finishes on 30th of June when a great presentation will be shown in the trade gallery Fenix and the Clarion hotel in Prague.
